How to advertise on Ookla Speedtest Mobile using Google AdWords

This article provides instructions on how to advertise on Speedtest.net mobile apps using Google AdWords. For more information about our advertising programs, please visit: http://www.speedtest.net/advertise

Targeting ads to Speedtest.net Mobile apps using Google AdWords:

Step 1: Create and fund a Google AdWords Advertiser account.

Step 2: Use the Google AdWords Display Planner to create a campaign that targets Speedtest.net.

  • Visit the Google Display Ad Planner: https://adwords.google.com/da/DisplayPlanner/Home
  • Type "speetest.net" (without the quotes) into the "Your customers are interested in" text field.
  • Adjust campaign targeting if needed
  • Click "Get placement ideas" button.

Step 3: First click "Mobile apps" then click the >> button on the table entry for Speedtest.net iOS and/or Speedtest.net Android to add our mobile apps to your campaign.

Step 4: Click "Review Plan":

Step 5: Click "Save to account" and add this ad plan to a new or existing AdWords Campaign.

Step 6: Complete the campaign setup to ensure the speedtest.net ad group you've just created is present and eligible to make use of your AdWords budget.
